Treatment Options

Photograph of a dense adhesion from the uterus to the anterior abdominal wall (pulling the inner lining of the abdominal wall toward the uterus). These types of adhesions can usually be lysed (cut) easily since they are often avascular (or have little active blood supply). It is not clear whether these adhesions tend to reduce fertility but they can cause pain and a bladder dysfunction.
