Photograph of the laparoscopic view of a right unicornuate uterus with the right fallopian tube extending from the right uterine “horn” and the omentum of the bowel adherent to the fundus of the uterus (presumably a postoperative adhesion resulting from a prior cesarean section).

Unicornuate uteri have been associated with recurrent spontaneous pregnancy loss, preterm labor, and contralateral renal (kidney) agenesis. Routine evaluation of the urinary system should be completed for women with a unicornuate uterus.
