Treatment Options

Radiograph of a hysterosalpingogram that demonstrates a uterine cavity with several irregular (relatively) large filling defects most consistent in appearance with intrauterine adhesions (rather than submucosal fibroids or endometrial polyps). The (thin isthmic portions of the) right and left fallopian tubes can be seen beginning to fill in this early film. These defects were found to be adhesions on hysteroscopy and were treated (surgically lysed).
